Thermo Scientific
The circulator is designed for continuous operation and for indoor use.
The equipment normally ships with circulator mounted facing the reservoir.
You may change the position ±90° by removing thumb screws, no tools are
required. Reinstall thumb screws.
Do not mount the circulator backwards; the line cord could contact the
reservoir fluid.
Rotate circulator
only ±90° from
shown position
The nozzle at the end of the pump can be repositioned for maximum flow in
the bath. When repositioning the circulator ensure the nozzle is not directed
towards a bath wall. There is a second opening on the pump that is capped,
do not remove this cap.
Never place the circulator in a location where excessive heat, moisture,
inadequate ventilation, or corrosive materials are present.
Leave refrigerated baths in an upright position at room temperature
(~25°C) for 24 hours before starting. This will ensure the lubrication oil
has drained back into the compressor.
Sahara baths, and stand-alone circulators, require immersion circulator
grounding.
For Sahara baths, and stand-alone immersion circulators, use the
supplied nut and washer to secure the grounding strap to the top of
the metal tank.
A45HC units utilize a flammable refrigerant (R290), risk of fire or
explosion, do not use sharp objects to clean evaporator coil in the
tank.
