4.1 IO-Link
The device offers the following IO-Link functions:
•
IO-Link master (IO-Link revision 1.0 and 1.1)
•
2 IO-Link Ports Class A to connect IO-Link devices. The IO-Link ports of the AIK001 meet the
requirements of the IO-Link specifications 1.0 to 1.1.2.
The AIK001 offers no function to configure the connected IO-Link devices.
► Configure IO-Link devices in accordance with the process requirements before connecting
them to the AIK001.

4.1.1 IO-Link supply
The device has 2 supplies for IO-Link devices.
Every supply provides short circuit monitoring.

4.2 Gateway
The device provides the process data of the connected IO-Link devices via mobile radio in the ifm
cloud.
