Older Machines
Level Switches Waste Tank
1. Drain the used fluid tank
2. Drain any remaining fluid from waste fluid tank by
disconnecting the bottom T-fitting to the Waste Tank
with a 7/8" open-end wrench.
3. Remove top of machine. (refer to Top Sink).
4. Disconnect solenoid valve from vacuum
generator. Use 3/8" open-end wrench to push fitting
in (refer to Service Procedures – Air Solenoid).
5. Unplug all Red Level Switch wires that are
connected to the waste fluid tank (refer to
Troubleshooting – Wiring Diagram.
6. Disconnect Waste Sight hose with 7/8" open-end
wrench.

7. Pull waste fluid tank out of machine, and set on
table, workbench, etc.
8. Remove level switch with 15/16" open-end
wrench.

9. Apply thread-sealer, and replace with new level
switch.

IMPORTANT: Level switch MUST be inserted with
flap facing the direction shown!
NOTE: The rubber gasket will break-in with time. If
re-mounting the OLD level switch, hand-tighten
first, and then turn one full rotation with 15/16"
open-end wrench. If installing NEW level switch,
we recommended that you use a torque wrench to
tighten the switch to within 11-13 ft/lbs, to prevent
damage to the threads.
