4.8 Loading/transport

Danger of accident!
Make sure that persons are not endangered by
the machine tipping or sliding off.
Lash the machine down, so that it is secured
against rolling, sliding and turning over.
For lifting the machine attach the lifting gear
only to the lifting point (cross strut on the en-
gine protection bow).
Check lifting eye for damage before use. Do
not use a damaged or in any other way im-
paired lifting eye.
The machine must not swing about when be-
ing lifted.
Do not step or stand under suspended loads.
Use only safe lifting gear of sufficient load
bearing capacity Minimum lifting capacity of
lifting gear: see operating weight in chapter
"Technical Data".
Tie the machine down on the transport vehicle,
so that it is secured against slipping, sliding
and turning over!

Always attach the lifting gear (rope) to the mo-
l
tor protection frame to load the vibratory plate
on a transport vehicle (Fig. 29).
