Before You Start - Loading Fasteners
1.
Disconnect the tool from the air supply. Grasp the Air-powered Flooring Stapler/Nailer firmly with one hand,
and use the other hand to press the latch on the magazine and slide it back. Insert a strip of fasteners into
the magazine. Be sure the points of the fasteners are facing down.
2.
Gently release the pusher so that it rests against the strip of fasteners, holding them in position at the front
of the magazine (near the discharge area). The Air-powered Flooring Stapler/Nailer is now ready for use,
and will be "live" as soon as the air-supply is re-connected.
A.
This flooring stapler/nailer can fire 15.5-gauge staple from 38 mm (1 ½'') to 50 mm (2'').
B.
This flooring stapler/nailer can fire 16-gauge L Cleats from 38 mm (1 ½'') to 50 mm (2'').
C.
This flooring stapler/nailer can fire 16-gauge T Cleats from 38 mm (1 ½'') to 50 mm (2'').
3.
Connect the tool to the air supply. Verify that the air pressure is within the correct range, as indicated in the
section entitled "Specifications".
4.
Test the driving depth using a sample piece of wood before working on the workpiece. If the fasteners are
being driven too deep or not deeply enough, adjust the regulator in order to provide more or less air
pressure, as required.
Always disconnect the tool from the compressed air source before loading or
changing fasteners. Do not point the tool toward yourself the operator or other
people while loading or changing fasteners. Do not hold the tool with the
trigger depressed while loading or changing fasteners.
