Removing the USB2connect for Notebooks
Adapter – Windows 2000 only
Windows 2000 requires a special operation to properly remove
hardware such as the USB2connect for Notebooks adapter.
1 Open the Unplug or Eject Hardware wizard by clicking
the icon shown at right, which is at the bottom right
corner of your desktop.
2 The unplug or Eject Hardware wizard is displayed. Click NEC
PCI to USB Open Host Controller and then click Stop.
3 Then, click OK in the window below.
