Host Adapter Status

This 8-bit field contains additional error information pertaining to the host adapter
or SCSI subsystem in general. This field is valid when the Command Done flag is set
to zero and one of the following flags is set to one: Specification Check, Initialization
Required, or Major Error/Exception.

04 Command Aborted by Host
05 Command Aborted by Host Adapter
08 Firmware Not Downloaded
0A Target Not Assigned to SCSI Subsystem
11 Selection Timeout
12 Data Overrun or Underrun Occurred
13 Unexpected Bus Free Occurred
14 Invalid Bus Phase Detected (SCSI Reset)
16 Invalid Operation Code
17 Invalid SCSI Linking Operation
18 Invalid Control Block Parameter
19 Duplicate Target Control Block Received
1A Invalid Scatter/Gather List
1B Request Sense Command Failed
1C Tagged Queuing Message Rejected by Target
20 Host Adapter Hardware Error
21 Target Did Not Respond to Attn (SCSI Reset)

Target Status

This 8-bit field contains the data byte returned by the target during status phase. If
the command operation terminated before the target was able to transfer a status
byte, this field will be set to zero and the host adapter status will be nonzero.
