3-2. Synthetic Adjustment

3-2-1. Factory Reset

1. Turn on the power of this unit while pressing and holding the SUPER RESET switch (S001) on
extension board EX-1089.
2. Release the switch (S001) when "Doing Super Reset" is displayed on the monitor screen.
3. Turn off the power of this unit when the display on the monitor screen changes.

3-2-2. Setting of Test Mode

1. Set the OPE/ADJ MODE switch (S002) on extension board EX-1089 to ADJ.

2. Set the 75 Z switch on the rear panel of this unit to ON.

3-2-3. VCO Frequency Adjustment 1

1. Set to 50i mode using the DIP switch at the bottom of this unit. (Refer to Operating Instructions.)
2. Turn on the power of this unit.
3. Press the [DATA|SCREEN] button of an infrared remote controller four times.
"EVR_CAM no:001 data:xxx" is displayed.
4. Using the [(]/[)] button of an infrared remote controller, adjust so that the value of a frequency
counter satisfies specification A.
Specification A: 28125.0 ± 0.1 Hz
m . To increase the value, press the [(] button.
. To decrease the value, press the [)] button.
5. Turn off the power of this unit.

3-2-4. VCO Frequency Adjustment 2

1. Set to 59.94i mode using the DIP switch at the bottom of this unit. (Refer to Operating Instructions.)
2. Turn on the power of this unit.
3. Press the [DATA|SCREEN] button of an infrared remote controller four times.
"EVR_CAM no:001 data:xxx" is displayed.
4. Using the [(]/[)] button of an infrared remote controller, adjust so that the value of a frequency
counter satisfies specification B.
Specification B: 33716.284 ± 0.100 Hz
m . To increase the value, press the [(] button.
. To decrease the value, press the [)] button.
5. Turn off the power of this unit.
