Saving a DAB+ station as a Favourites memory

The device memory can store up to 30 stations.
>
To add a station to the My favourites list, keep one of the Preset 1- 3 buttons
pressed during playback until saved appears.
>
In order to save a station to a Favourites slot higher than 3, hold down the
Preset 4+ button until Save preset appears on the display.
>
Then use the Selection knob to select the Favourites slot you want and then
confirm your selection by pressing the Selection knob.

Retrieving a DAB+ station from the Favourites memory

>
Briefly press the Preset 4+ button and use the Selection knob to select a
Favourites memory slot.
>
Press the Selection knob to play the station.
Alternatively:
>
Hold down one of the one-touch buttons Preset 1 - 3.

Deleting a Favourites memory

It is not necessary to delete a Favourites memory. An old station can be
overwritten by saving a new station.

Signal strength

>
Briefly press the Info/Menu button repeatedly until the signal strength bar is
displayed.
>
The display shows the signal strength using a bar graph. The mark shows the
minimum signal strength.
Stations with a signal strength below the required minimum signal intensity
are not transmitting a strong enough signal. Readjust the telescopic antenna.

Manual setting

This menu item is used to check the reception channels and can be used to align the
antenna.
>
Select Menu > Manual setting and press the Selection knob.
>
Select a channel (5A to 13F) using the Selection knob.
Its signal intensity will now be shown on the display.
Stations with a signal strength below the required minimum signal intensity
are not transmitting a strong enough signal.

Volume adjustment (DRC)

The Volume Adjustment menu item is used to set the compression rate, which
compensates for dynamic fluctuations and the associated volume variations.
>
Select Menu > Volume Adjustment and press the Selection knob.
>
Use the Selection knob to select one of the options:
DRC high -
high compression
DRC low -
low compression
DRC off -
compression switched off.
>
Confirm the setting by pressing the Selection knob.

Deleting inactive stations

This menu item is for removing old stations and those no longer being received from
the station list.
>
Select Menu > Deleting inactive stations and press the Selection knob.
This is followed by the Delete prompt asking if the inactive stations are to be
deleted.
> Using the Selection knob, select the Yes item and confirm by pressing the
Selection knob.
7.2.10

Station sequence

The stations in the station list are usually displayed in alphanumeric sequence. If you
want to change this, please proceed as follows:
>
Select Menu > Station Sequence and press the Selection knob.
>
Select Alphanumeric, Provider or Valid and press the Selection knob to
accept the setting.
