TROuBLEShOOTINg TIPS
Symptom
A – unit will not turn ON
B – unit is ON, but will not fire
Power light is blinking
Power light is solid RED
Low Solvent light ON
C – unit fires but no solvent is dispensed
D – unit operates but doesn't clean properly
E – Service light is ON
F – No image on LCD

Potential Cause
No power to unit
Run button on handset is depressed
Safety is not disengaged
Solvent tank is empty
Solvent refill cap may be open
Line may need to be PRIMED
Cleaning tip damaged or plugged
No cleaning tip or wrong tip installed • Verify correct cleaning tip and install
Tip not fully inserted into bulkhead
No solvent spray
Vacuum flow restricted
Air flow restricted
Nozzle damaged
System at service interval
No power to LCD
No probe connected to unit
Test / Remedy
• Make sure power cord is connected.
• Make sure power switch is in the correct position.
• Turn OFF power, release run button, and turn unit ON
• Apply pressure to cleaning nozzle to disable safety
• Refill the tank with cleaning solvent
• Close solvent refill cap
• Prime the system (see page 16)
• Place the tip in electrostatic wash; if problem persists,
replace tip
• Make sure the tip comes to a stop inside mating adapter
• See Symptom C above for remedy
• Check exhaust port or filter for obstruction
• Check air filters
• Check nozzle inside tip for damage and replace if necessary
• Replace air filters (see page 21)
• Verify the unit and LCD power switches are ON
• Install probe to probe input
