What is a Programmable Room Thermostat? A programmable room thermostat is both a programmer and a room thermostat. A programmer allows you to set “On” and “O ” periods to suit your own lifestyle. One of my wall thermostats is stuck. Won't edit. Has hand with finger pointing up
The Polypipe UFHPROGW thermostat may be locked if it shows a hand with a finger pointing up. To fix this, try the following steps:
1. Press and hold the Left/Right keys to navigate to the Power Icon.
2. Press and hold the button to turn the display OFF.
3. Press and hold the Down key together with the other relevant key for 10 seconds.
4. The current temperature should appear on the display.
5. If editable, use the Up/Down keys to adjust the settings.
6. Press the confirm button to save changes, and the display should go blank.
