Routing the wires
NOTE: This fan is equipped with a safety tab. Should the
setscrew (GG) ever become loose while the fan is running
in reverse, the safety tab will engage and stop the fan from
falling.

Route the wires exiting the top of the fan motor assembly (E)
through the downrod .
□
Loosen, but do not remove, the setscrews (GG) on the motor
collar (PP) on top of the fan-motor assembly (E).
□
Install the downrod (B) by inserting it into the motor collar (PP),
and turning it clockwise until the holes at the bottom of the ball/
downrod assembly (B) align with the holes in the collar on top of
the fan-motor assembly (E).
□
Re-tighten the setscrews (GG) on the collar on top of the fan
motor assembly (E).

Assembling the fan
□
Place decorative motor collar (D) canopy bottom cover (JJ) and
canopy (C) over lead wires and downrod, and then replace the
hanger ball.
□
Replace the hanger ball with pin and set screw. Tighten it
securely.
