Barcode Reader
Hold the camera over bar codes (JAN code, QR codes)
to scan the information.
JAN code
z JAN code is a bar code expressing a number with the
vertical lines of different width.
z The camera can scan JAN8 and JAN13 codes.
QR code
z QR code is a 2-dimensional code expressing data in
vertical and horizontal directions.

Display a bar code to scan on the main
display
z Display the bar code in the center of the main
display.
z Keep a distance of approximately 10 cm between a
bar code and the camera with their position
stabilized as much as possible to recognize easily.
z When scanning is complete, completion sound is
heard and the scan result screen is displayed.
z To cancel scanning temporarily, press C. To
resume scanning, press t.
z Setting Barcode Reader: z▶set each item
For divided data
z Some QR codes require of multiple divided data
scanning (up to 16 codes) to merge them into one.
Repeat the operation until all data is scanned. The
scan result is displayed.
