Soft Re se t - To reset t he print er and clear any t em porary host set t ings:
1. Wit h t he print er 'On', press and hold t he
four seconds.

When program updat es and/ or new feat ures are added, t hey can be downloaded t o t he pr int er as
follows:
1) I dent ify t he new version for your m odel of print er from t he Dat am ax- O'Neil Web sit e at
www.dat am ax- oneil.com and download it ont o your com put er's hard drive.
2) Launch t he NETira CT configurat ion ut ilit y, and query ( connect ) t o t he print er, ( see sect ion
3.3 for m ore inform at ion on NETira CT) .
I t is recom m ended t hat t he configurat ion be saved before downloading firm ware, and rest ored

when finished. Be sure t o check t he box labeled " I nclude Sensor Calibrat ion Dat a on Open"
when rest oring t he configurat ion.
3) Go t o t he Tools> Upgrade> Firm ware.
Select t he binary file ( BI N file) .
4) Click t he 'Send' but t on t o st art t he
firm ware updat e.
Be sure only t hat only one com m unicat ion cable is connect ed t o t he print er before at t em pt ing

t he firm ware upgrade. Do not at t em pt t o send any ot her dat a or perform operat ions via t he
front panel when t he firm ware is downloading.
