Troubleshooting (Continued)
Remote
The remote does not work.
• The batteries in the remote are worn out.
Replace all the batteries in the remote
( page 12, "INSTALLATION GUIDE").
• The light emitters of the remote are not pointed at
the receptor of this unit.
Point the emitter of the remote control at the
receptor of this unit.
• The receptor of this unit is located too far away from
the remote.
Operate the remote within 7 meters (23 ft) from
the receptor of this unit.
• There are obstacles between the remote and this
unit.
Remove any obstacles.
• The remote mode is not appropriate.
Adjust the remote mode of the remote control and
this unit ( page 46, "INSTALLATION GUIDE").
The clock blinks.
Complete the initial setting again (
"INSTALLATION GUIDE").
The clock does not keep time.
Set the Time and Date Setting manually (
32, "INSTALLATION GUIDE").
Set Summer Time or Time Zone correctly
( page 30, "INSTALLATION GUIDE").
Before consulting your Toshiba dealer
Copy the contents of the HDD and the library data on the DVD-RAM disc for backup. During the repair, the data of
the built-in HDD may disappear. Even if the HDD itself has a problem, copy the all playable contents.
