- Open the Oxygen and Protoxide bottles valve and check the relative values on the
pressure gauges;
- Close the bottles valves;
- Five minutes later, measure the new values.
If the values are unchanged it means that there are not leaks. If there are leaks send
the flow-meter box and Oxygen and Protoxide reducers to TECNO-GAZ Technical
Department.
5) Make sure the bag pocket CM8400 is in perfect conditions (stress it manually near
the coupler; it must not tear).
6) Periodically check the CM88051 pipe (WHEN STRESSED MANUALLY IT MUST NOT
SHOW ANY BREAK).
7) The valve must be fitted onto the mask as shown in Pct. 31; check the mask
efficiency in the following way:
a) Close the holes of the ring (A) and inject air at very low pressure (the air flow
must come out of the mask connection).
b) Inject air from the draining pipe connection, the air flow must not come out
from the mask connection.
