CONNECTING THE RUBBER BALLOON:
1. Connect the rubber balloon (CM84001) to the flow-
meter box (SMFA500), placing it in the rubber-holder
see pict.26.
CONNECTING THE MASK (CODE 1607A & 1605A):
1. Choose the mask that best fits the patient nose.
2. Block the mask by means of the running pipe holding
device located behind the chair headrest.
DRAINING EXHALED GASES
The operator can choose how to disposed of the gases exhaled by the patient
according to the following connections:
A) DRAIN BY MEANS OF GAS SURGICAL ASPIRATOR DIRECTLY BY THE MASK; in the
cabinet model ART.1600AS and in the wall-type model ART.1601AS, see pict. 28.
- Fit the coupler in the draining pipe end (See Pict. 7) and then connect it to the
pipe of the surgical aspirator Ø11
- Adjust the air ring of the gases draining valve, as shown in the paragraph
B) GASES DRAIN TO THE EXTERN BY MEANS OF THE CABINET; only in the model
ART.1600AS
- Connection to cabinet, see pict.29
- Screw a coupler (SMFA237) to the MASTER FLUX cabine
position (See Pict. 29).
- Connect the exhale pipe (drain) of the mask to the cabinet using the rubber-
holder see pict.29
- Screw a SMFA237 coupler, included in the cabinet in the hole in position C.
