Proximity FAQ
"This is done through Bluetooth® settings on your
iPhone®.
If you have an iPhone® 4S operating on iOS 5:
Tap on 'Settings' .
o
Tap on 'General' .
o
Tap on Bluetooth®. If the Bluetooth® setting is
o
'OFF' ,
turn to 'ON. '
Tap the arrow next to 'Bluetooth®' .
o
Find the "Eco-Drive..." designation
Tap on the arrow then
o
Tap on 'Forget this Device'
o
If you have an iPhone® 4S operating on iOS 6 or
have an iPhone® 5 or higher
Tap on settings.
o
Tap on Bluetooth®.
o
If the Bluetooth® setting is 'OFF' , turn to 'ON. '
Find the "Eco-Drive.." designation
o
Tap on the arrow.
o
Tap on Forget this Device.
o
You may do this in several ways:
Pull the crown out one 'click' rotate the crown to
o
move the mode had at the 6:00 sub dial so that it is
pointing to disconnect (DCT). Push the crown in
one click. This will initiate the "disconnect"
sequence. Be sure to return the mode hand to the
time (TME) mode.
You may also open the Proximity App on your
o
iPhone® and turn the 'Proximity Connect' feature to
'OFF. ' Then you will need to turn 'SCAN' off as well.
Turn your iPhone® settings to Airplane mode.
o
Turn the Bluetooth® radio on your iPhone® to
o
'OFF' .
When you power down your iPhone®, the
o
Bluetooth® connection is automatically cancelled.
