This model protects a twinax device for System 3X
or AS/400.
1. Disconnect the data cable from the device.
2. Connect the protector to the device.
3. Attach the ground wire to the device chassis
if the chassis is metal.
If you do not properly install the protector, you might
damage the equipment. We also strongly recommend AC
power protection.
4. Connect the data cable to the protector.
