This model protects your T1 interfaces from
dangerous surges.
1. Disconnect the T1 line from the unit.
2. If the unit you wish to protect is metal, plug
the surge protector into the unit and attach
the ground wire to the chassis of the unit. If
the unit is plastic, connect the ground wire to
the electrical outlet ground for the unit.
3. Plug the T1 cable into the surge protector.
Fig. 3-7 shows a typical application.
