. Never disassemble the laser light unit.
. When replacing the laser source unit, check "Procedure before replacement of laser source unit" in this
section before replacement.
. When replacing the laser source unit, perform the procedure in Section 2-2-4.
The replacement procedure of the laser source unit varies depending on the model.
. VPL-FHZ60/FHZ65:
. Models other than the above: Perform "Replacement [B]".
Procedure before replacement of laser source unit (VPL-FHZ60/FHZ65 only)
Check whether the laser source unit has the cushions or not by referring to the illustration below.
. Without cushions: Perform "Replacement [A]".
In the case that the laser source unit does not have the cushions, replace it with the Dust proof Unit (LPN)
Assembly in "Replacement [A]".
. With cushions: Perform "Replacement [B]".
