When diving, the blue depth indicator (8) shows the current depth, which can be
read off on the dive depth scale (7). The red maximum depth indicator (9) moves in
sync with the depth indicator during the descent. During ascent, the maximum depth
indicator continues to show the maximum depth achieved while the depth indicator
moves back towards zero as depth decreases.
The maximum depth indicator can be reset by pushing the reset push-button (12).
To avoid damage, the depth gauge is mechanically disengaged below depths of
approximately 50 metres. Depths beyond this limit are no longer indicated (13).

The depth gauge can be set to zero to correct
fluctuations in atmospheric pressure by turning the
adjust ment crown (11). This correction should be
made before every dive. To adjust the watch as pre-
cisely as possible, proceed as follows: First set the
depth gauge to a value below zero (for example
–2 metres). Then reset the maximum depth indica-
tor (press the reset push-button (12)). By turning the
adjustment crown (11), the depth gauge can now be
set to zero.
