If the tractor should be disused for a long time after finishing the field work or due to other
reasons, it will be necessary to properly seal and store the tractor.
The tractor should be thoroughly cleaned before being sealed and stored. All connectors must
be adjusted and fixed, and the technical service should be done in accordance with working hours,
so that the tractor will be kept in good state.
Important matters:
Scientific storage and special maintenance and service are very important during
disuse. Otherwise, the deterioration speed of tractor's technical state will be higher than
that in working period.

5.1 Reasons for damage of tractor during storage period

Corrosion: during the storage period, the dust and vapor in the air will easily enter into the
machine through gap and orifice, and the parts will be polluted and corroded. Other parts
such as piston, valve, bearing and gear, if they are kept in a position for a long time, they
will lose the protection from lubricant film that flows and has pressure, thus the erosion,
rust, cement blocking or clamping stagnation will occur, and the tractor will be scraped。
Aging: The rubber, plastic and other parts will get aging, degenerated, brittle, corroded,
and decayed or lose effect.
Deformation: plastic deformation occurs in transmission belt, tire and other parts after
they sustain force for long time.
Others: electric parts are affected with damp, the storage battery automatically
discharges, and etc.

5.2 Sealing and storing the tractor

Carefully examine the tractor before sealing and storing it, eliminate the existing failure,
keep good technical state, and clean up the appearance of tractor.
The tractor should be stored in dry warehouse or shed with good ventilation. It can not be
stored with corrosive goods and liquid. If the tractor is stored outdoor, select the higher
and dry platform, and cover the tractor with tarpaulin.
Support the tractor off ground with dry wood frame, so that the load can be removed from
tire. Regularly examine the air pressure in tire.
Clean the parts dismounted from tractor and the tools, pack them and store them in dry
Deposit
