2.18.2.1 Faults and solutions of start motor
Symptom
1.Start motor is out of
operation
2.Start motor starts
weakly and fails to
start engine
Operation Instruction
1. The safety valve opens because
the internal lifting arm jacks the
lifter housing due to the improper
adjustment.
1. The oil cylinder oil inlet way fails
to be cut.
2. The taper body and taper hole
before the lowering speed control
valve fails to be sealed properly.
3. The lifter is at its neutral position.
Reason
1.The battery capacity is not enough;
2.The battery poles are too dirt and the
cable is loose;
3.The cable joint is loose and the earth
wire is rusty;
4.The start switch or any other control
circuit is disconnected;
5.The carbon brush
commutator are in loose contact;
6. An open circuit or short circuit occurs
inside start motor.
1. The battery capacity is not enough;
2. The conductors are in loose contact;
3. The commutator surface is burned or
stained with oil;
4. The carbon brush
excessively or the spring pressure of
carbon brush is not enough to make
it in loose contact with commutator;
5.Main contact of electromagnetic
switch is burned out and it is in bad
contact;
6. The bearing is worn severely and the
armature rubs against shell.
1. Measure the height of farm tools at this
time, readjust and shorten the adjusting
rod to ensure the highest lifting position is
lower than the original position.
1. Clockwise fasten the control handwheel
of lowering speed.
2. Face up the taper body and taper hole
before the lowering speed control valve,
or replace the lowering speed control
valve.
3. Pull the lifter control handle to its
lowering position, lower the external
lifting arm to its lowest position, cut the oil
inlet way of oil cylinder, and pull the
control handle to its lifting position.
1.Charge the battery as required;
2.Remove the dirt and fasten the
connecting piece;
3.Fasten the joint and remove the rust;
4.Inspect circuit to make connection
reliable;
and the
5.Adjust the spring pressure of carbon
brush and clean the commutator;
6. Inspect and repair the start motor.
1. Charge the battery;
2. Fasten the joint of conductors;
3. Polish the commutator surface or
remove the oil stain;
