Typically, some disks only
load successfully if AD
(accuratedisk) and/or RO
(readonly) are applied. See
CHAPTER 8 for details
Patience is a virtue. Wait a
while longer before assuming
the tape file isn't loading
Try loading the file on a C64
computer model
Try auto-loading the next
cartridge file in the set (Classic
mode only) and see if the
VIC 20 cartridge program then
runs
Check what the cartridge
expanded memory requirements
are on the VIC 20. See
CHAPTER 8 for further details
