SWITCH TO
CLASSIC MODE
(only in Carousel mode)
This option immediately
switches to Classic mode,
entering BASIC.
See CHAPTER 5 for further
details about Classic mode.
SYSTEM
INFORMATION>
This option reveals the current
firmware build on THEC64
and the current Video output
mode (50 Hz or 60 Hz).
Connect a correctly formatted
USB stick containing an
official firmware upgrade
file to a USB port on THEC64
and you will see the upgrade
option on this screen.
See APPENDIX B for further
details about formatting USB
sticks.
See CHAPTER 9 for further
details about how to upgrade
THEC64 firmware.
You cannot install an
earlier fi rmware than the
build version currently
installed.
CLOSE
If there is no firmware upgrade file available, this is
the only option here.
If there is a valid firmware upgrade file detected on
an connected USB stick, you have two choices:
CANCEL
This is the default option.
UPGRADE
This will upgrade your firmware to the latest version.
All saved settings on THEC64 are unaffected by an
upgrade.
Do not disconnect the USB stick whilst an upgrade is
in progress.
