Important:

COOKING

Lowering the basket

• After preheating, (power indicator light turned ON then OFF), open the
lid. Put ingredients in the basket, hook the basket on the support, then
close the lid. (Fig. 16)
• Plunging the basket too rapidly in the oil may cause it to overflow.
Important:
• Never touch the body of the appliance during cooking and before it
completely cools down.
– When the fryer is in use, some parts are extremely hot and can cause
severe burn.
– Use only the cool-touch handle and knobs, and keep the lid closed to
safely check the food while cooking.
• Frying is complete when the cooking time is elapsed, and food has got
the desired color and texture.
• Allow the excess oil to drain by hooking the basket on the support of the
inner oil tank and leave the basket in this position for 30 seconds.
Serve
• When preparing subsequent batches of food, add some additional oil
if necessary. Wait for the "ready" light to turn on again for preheating.
Then follow the steps mentioned above.
Switching off the deep fryer
• When you are done, turn off the appliance by pressing the On/Off
button, turn the thermostat down to the lowest setting. (Fig.18)
• Then unplug the deep fryer and wrap the cord. (Fig.19)
• Allow the oil to cool down completely in the fryer (approx. 2 hours).
• Move the fryer using the carrying handles.
• Never keep nor use the appliance outdoor.
• Do not keep the appliance in a place with a condensation risk.
• For optimal use, clean the viewing window after each use.
