PREPARATION OF YOUR APPLIANCE

Before using for the first time

• Clean your new deep fryer: the fryer can be completely dismantled.
• Remove the lid, basket and handle. (Fig.1-2)
• Attach the cool-touch basket handle to the basket: squeeze the handle
rods together and place the ends into the loops of the basket. Make
sure that the handle stem is placed beneath the locking bracket on the
basket. (Fig. 3)
• Note: Serious injury can occur if the handle is not properly locked in
place.
• Remove the control unit and heating element. (Fig.4)
• Remove the oil tank. (Fig.5)
• The oil tank, lid, filter support (with the anti-odor filter removed), oil tray,
and the basket can all be washed in a dishwasher (Fig.6) or cleaned with
