Action
Is anything blocking the N-field?
The charging station may need to be moved.
Check the N-signal from the charging station: Place
the Automower in the test position and then check the
value via the Quick check function (Press and hold the
0 key down for 2 seconds). The N-coil is defective if
the value for N is lower than 100. The charging plate
must be replaced.
Check that the contact strips on the charging station
are not jammed. Round off the charging strips on the
Automower if necessary using emery cloth and
lubricate with copper paste. Also test the charging
current with the help of the Quick check function
(press and hold the 0 key down for 2 seconds). The
current (I) should be at least 3,0A (1.6A for 220 AC).
Check that the sleeves on the cabling sit firmly on the
charging strip. Clamp the sleeve using a pair of pliers
if it sits loosely. The sleeve may need to be replaced
with a new sleeve. Also check for signs of arcing on
the charging strip, if this is the case replace the
charging strip and sleeves. Also test the charging
current with the help of the Quick check function
(Press and hold the 0 key down for 2 seconds). The
current (I) should be at least 3.0 A (1.6 A for 220 AC).
Let the Automower dock itself in the charging station
by pressing Home. Check that the charging strips and
contact strips make good contact. Also test the
charging current with the help of the Quick check
function (press and hold the 0 key down for
2 seconds). The current (I) should be at least 3.0 A
(1.6 A for 220 AC). If not, see Fault tracing for
charging, page 20.
Check that the charging station does not lean to the
side and that the charging plate is not bent.
Check the cable lugs. File off any corrosion. Replace
the entire charging cable assembly if necessary.
Lift off the cover on the charging station and check the
connection.
Check that the contact strips on the charging station
are not jammed. Round off the charging strips on the
Automower if necessary using emery cloth and
lubricate with copper paste.
Check that the charging cable connectors and the
charging cables on the mower are undamaged.
Replace the control box. See page 91 to replace.
Remove the object.
Lift the body from the rear section and feel whether it
is secured correctly. If not, tighten the screws.
Check the collision sensors via Tools - Test - Sensors
(shortcut 5-2-5). Check whether the magnets on the
mower, without contact, indicate a collision.
Check the collision sensors via Tools - Test - Sensors
(shortcut 5-2-5). Check the collision sensors and the
cabling to see whether the magnet is seated correctly
and that the mower, without contact, indicates a
collision.
Replace the cable harness.
