Seicane S12753 1996-2003 BMW 5 Series E39 head unit after installation

Please note:

This unit can be suitable for the following cars which are also with the same installation

steps as follows.

1996-2003 BMW 5 E39 520i, 523i, 525i, 528i, 528i SE, 530i, 535i, 540i, M5, 520d, 525d, 525td,

525tds, 530d

2000-2007 BMW X5 E53 3.0i, 3.0d, 4.4i, 4.6is, 4.8is

Here comes some tips before the installation:

1. Please disconnect the power before the installation.

2. Please prepare a lever and a screwdriver before the removal and the installation.

3. Please keep all the separate parts from the car. Please take great care of the dashboard to

avoid scratching it during its detachment and installation. Please keep handy any parts from

the car and make use of all the original screws from the car as much as possible. so each

related part of the unit can be fixed securely.

Page 2 1996-2003 BMW 5 Series E39 head unit installation guide 1.The original car radio. 2.Use a plastic trim tool to remove trim strip. 3.Remove screws marked by red arrows.
Page 3 4.Take original radio out of the car. 5.Pull out original power plug of the car. 6.Connect the power cables as the picture shows.
Page 4 7.Remove screws in the spare tire in the trunk. 8.Take out the spare tire. 9.Remove four screws marked with red arrows.
Page 5 10.Remove screws in triangle crutch. 11.Take out triangle crutch. 12.Connect original plug of the car with power plug of DVD GPS.
Page 6 15. Connect the Seicane head unit to your original car radio 's plugs. 16. Turn on the new Seicane head unit to have a careful check if everything works well. If it doesn't, please check whether all the cables are connected correctly.
