8. Preparations
8.1

Installation site

f Always install the appliance in a room free from the risk of f
frost and near the draw-off point.
f Ensure the floor has sufficient load bearing capacity and f
evenness (see chapter "Specification / Data table").
f Observe the room height and height when tilted (see chapter f
"Specification / Data table").

Transport

For handling/lifting, use the lifting eyes provided, but never the
"Optional DHW outlet" connection at the top of the appliance.
9. Installation
9.2.1 Fitting the thermal insulation, if appropriate.
f Position the appliance in its intended site. f
f Fit the thermal insulation according to the instructions sup- f
plied. For this, ensure that there is enough space for the
installation task. You can then link the appliance into the
heating and DHW system.
9.2.2 Fitting the signal anode

When operating the cylinder without consumption indica-
tor, leave the plug in the fitting.
f Pull the plug out by simultaneously pushing the pressure f
ring down.
f Push the open pipe end of the consumption indicator into the f
aperture for the anode.
9.2.3 Fitting the thermometer and temperature sensor
f Insert the thermometer as far as it will go and align it. f
f Insert the temperature sensor as far as it will go into the f
sensor well for the HP return sensor. Apply heat conducting
paste.
9.2.4 Where appropriate, fit the flanged or threaded
immersion heater.
f Remove the dummy flanges and plugs in order to mount the f
flanged or threaded immersion heater. Maintain the DC sepa-
ration towards the cylinder.
