Remote Node TCP/IP Configuration
This chapter shows you how to configure the TCP/IP parameters of a remote node for LAN-
to-LAN application.

LAN-to-LAN Application
A typical LAN-to-LAN application is to use your Prestige to call from a branch office to the
headquarters, as depicted in the following Figure 5-1.

For the branch office, you need to configure a remote node in order to dial out to the
headquarters. Additionally, you may also need to enter static routes if some services reside
beyond the immediate remote LAN.
