This chapter covers controlling access to the ZyWALL.

44.1 Service Control Overview

Use this chapter to control which services can access the ZyWALL.
The following figure shows secure and insecure management of the ZyWALL coming in from
the WAN. HTTPS and SSH access are secure. HTTP, Telnet, and dial-in management access
are not secure.

To allow the ZyWALL to be accessed from a specific computer using a
service, make sure you do not have a service control rule or To-ZyWALL
firewall rule blocking that traffic.
This section is related to the To-ZyWALL firewall rules, see
more information.
To stop a service from accessing the ZyWALL, clear Enable in the corresponding service
screen.
