• Turn the machine of as described above.
• Turn of the water supply.
• Release all remaining pressure from the gun by pulling the trigger.
• Store the gun in the holster.

Long term storage

If you do not intend to use the petrol pressure washer for a longer period of time proceed
as follows:
Engine
• Drain all fuel from the petrol pressure washer. Refer to local regulations regarding the
correct disposal of residual fluids!
• Poor one cup of engine oil in the fuel tank and sway the petrol pressure washer from side
to side to coat the inside of the tank to prevent corrosion. Drain excess oil.
• Unscrew the spark plug and insert one spoon of engine oil into the engine cylinder. Pull
the starter cord several times with the ON/OFF switch in the OFF position. Refit the spark
plug.
• Pull the starter cord to the point of compression and release.
• Clean all surfaces with a dry cloth and store the petrol pressure washer indoors and
covered on level ground.
High pressure hose
• Drain all water from the high pressure hose, coil and store in the hose compartment.
• Drain all water from the spray gun by pulling the trigger with the nozzle pointing down.
Protection against frost
When freezing temperatures are forecast, it is recommended to protect the internal seals of
the petrol pressure washer against frost. Proceed as follows:
• Connect a 1 metre piece of garden hose to the water inlet of the high pressure pump. You
may use the hose connector supplied.
• Fit a funnel to the 1 metre garden hose.
• Fill approx. 180ml of non-corrosive antifreeze into the pump.
• Ensure the main switch is in the OFF position.
• Carefully pull the starter cord repeatedly until antifreeze comes out of the high pressure
hose connection.
• Remove the hose from the water inlet.
• Store in a clean, dry area.
• Cover the petrol pressure washer with a suitable cover such as a tarpaulin.
Preparing for use after long time storage
• Ensure the main switch is in the OFF position.
