Filling the engine with oil

• The petrol pressure washer is not filled with oil at the factory. Suitable oil is included
with the machine in a separate bottle. Never start the engine without oil. This
will damage the engine beyond repair and will not be covered by warranty.
• Check the oil level before use in all cases.
• Place the petrol pressure washer on a flat, level
surface and remove all debris around the oil
inlet area.
• Unscrew the dipstick (HH) from the oil inlet.
• Use the dipstick fitted to the oil cap to measure the oil
level. Unscrew the dipstick from the oil inlet and wipe it
clean with a rag. Then insert the dipstick into the oil inlet
but do not screw it in place. Withdraw the dipstick and
check the oil level.
• Ensure that the oil is level between the LOW and HIGH
marks (marked with L and H respectively).
• To add oil use the funnel (8B) provided and slowly pour
oil into the oil inlet. Do not overfill.
• Let the oil settle for one minute and recheck the oil level
as described above.
• Screw the dipstick into the oil inlet.
WARNING! Do not to overfill with oil. Overfilling with oil can lead to damage to
the engine. The maximum capacity of the oil tank is 0.6l.
Note. The engine is equipped with an oil level sensor. If the oil level is too low the oil
level sensor will shut down the engine or prevent starting.
If the engine shuts down when the oil level is within specifications, check that the
petrol pressure washer is level.
