General Safety Instructions

Caution!
Read and understand the user and safety instructions before you
use the petrol pressure washer.
GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
• Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety boots,
safety gloves, a helmet with a visor and hearing protection.
• Wear heavy duty protective clothing including full-length trousers and full-length sleeves.
• Do not operate the petrol pressure washer in explosive atmospheres, such as in the
presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Sparks may ignite the dust or fumes.
• Maintain a stable posture and firmly grip the spray gun with both hands. Consider the
danger of the kickback force and the sudden torque on the spray gun when pulling the
trigger.
OPERATIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS FOR YOUR PETROL PRESSURE WASHER
• The petrol pressure washer shall not be used by children. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the machine.
• This machine is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
• Never leave the petrol pressure washer unattended when it is running.
• This machine has been designed for use with the cleaning agent recommended by the
manufacturer. The use of other cleaning agents or chemicals may adversely affect the
safety of the machine.
• High pressure jets can be dangerous if subject to misuse. The jet must not be directed at
persons or animals, live electrical equipment or the machine itself.
• Do not use the machine within range of persons unless they wear protective clothing.
• Do not direct the jet against yourself or others in order to clean clothing or footwear.
• Risk of explosion – Do not spray flammable liquids.
• Petrol pressure washer shall not be used by children or untrained personnel.
• High pressure hoses, fittings and couplings are important for the safety of the machine.
Use only hoses, fittings and couplings recommended by the manufacturer.
• To ensure machine safety, use only original spare parts from the manufacturer or
approved by the manufacturer.
• Water that has flowed through a backflow prevention device is considered non-potable.
• Switch the petrol pressure washer off before making adjustments or during cleaning or
maintenance work, and when replacing parts.
• Do not use the machine if a supply hose or important parts of the machine are damaged,
e.g. safety devices, high pressure hoses, trigger gun.
• Do not use internal combustion engine powered machines indoors.
• Ensure that any exhaust emissions are not in the vicinity of air intakes.
• Always turn the petrol pressure washer off when leaving the machine unattended.
• Never use the petrol pressure washer to clean objects containing hazardous substances
