Using cleaning agents

• Switch the petrol pressure washer off before making adjustments or carrying
out maintenance work.
• To prevent unintentional starting always engage the trigger lock when putting
the gun aside.
• This machine has been designed for use with the cleaning agent
recommended by the manufacturer. The use of other cleaning agents or
chemicals may adversely affect the safety of the machine.
• Recommended cleaning agents include detergents designed for use with
pressure washers and are widely available at DIY stores or car accessory
retailers.
• Release the remaining pressure from the gun by pulling the trigger.
• Fit the black cleaning agent nozzle.
• Fill the cleaning agent tank as described above.
• Release the trigger lock and pull the trigger to apply the cleaning agent.
• Work from bottom to top of the area to be cleaned.
• Allow the cleaning agent to soak in before rinsing off.
• Change the nozzle as described above and rinse off the cleaning agent. Rinse off a small
area first and inspect if the result is satisfactory.
Note!
• Use cleaning agents on dry surfaces unless recommended otherwise by the
manufacturer.
• Do not allow cleaning agents to dry out completely to prevent streaking.
Flushing the system
Flush the system every time after using cleaning agents.
• Turn the machine off.
• Fill the cleaning agent tank with clean water.
• Remove the nozzle.
• Turn the machine on.
• Point the gun into a safe direction and pull the trigger to flush clean water through the
system.
• Repeat if necessary.
• Residues from cleaning agents can cause damage to the pump.
• Never drain cleaning agents through the water inlet of the pump.
