    ASSEMBLY STEPS 1. PREPARATION • Before assembling make sure that you will have enough space around the item. • Use the supplied parts and hardware for the assembly. • Before assembling, please check whether all the required parts have been supplied as per the exploded drawing on the opposite page.
  • Page 12 ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 3: HANDLEBAR ASSEMBLY STEP 3 Attach the Handlebar (14) to the Front Post (13), securing with 1 Clamp (36), 1 Allen Bolt (M8 x 20 mm) (16), 1 Cover for Clamp (37) and the T Type Knob (38). Insert the Hand Pulse Wire (28) through the Grommet (29) and insert it through the hole in the Front Post (13).

  • Page 15 CONSOLE FUNCTIONS SETTING WORKOUT After selecting desired workout mode: Manual, Pre-set Programs, Body Fat, PARAMETERS: Target Heart Rate, Heart Rate Control and User Program. You may pre-set several workout parameters: WORKOUT PARAMETERS: TIME / DISTANCE / CALORIES /AGE NOTE: Some parameters are not adjustable in certain programs. Time and Distance can not be set up at the same time.

Continue through all desired parameters, pressing START/STOP to start workout. If the measured Pulse is above or below the set TARGET H.R (± 5), the Console will adjust the resistance load automatically.

    EXERCISE INSTRUCTIONS Using your Trojan Cadence 420 Stationary Cycle provides you with several benefits, it will improve your physical fitness, tone muscle and in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet, help you lose weight. THE WARM UP PHASE This stage helps get the blood flowing around the body and the muscles working properly. It will also reduce the risk of cramp and muscle injury.
  • Page 19 MUSCLE TONING To tone muscle while on your Trojan Cadence 420 Stationary Cycle you will need to have the resistance set quite high. This will put more strain on your leg muscles and may mean you cannot train for as long as you would like.

    Always consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. MUSCLE CHART The exercise routine that is performed on the Trojan Cadence 420 Stationary Cycle will develop the lower body muscle group as well as condition the circulatory system and provide a good aerobic workout. These muscle groups are highlighted on the muscle chart below.

    CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years, or are severely overweight, you must start slowly and increase your time on the equipment, a few minutes per workout. Initially, you may be able to exercise only for a few minutes in your target zone, however, your aerobic fitness will improve over the next 6 to 8 weeks.
