10.2 The time
Using System settings > Time and Date it is possible to make various settings concerning
the time and date as well as the display formats.
Select <Setting the time/date> to adjust the time and date manually if you do not

wish to use automatic setting over the Internet, DAB or FM. Select the respective
value by turning the SCROLL/SELECT/SNOOZE knob. Pressing the SCROLL/SELECT/
SNOOZE knob, takes you to an option.
Select the <Update settings>, to establish the source from which the time/date
>
should be updated automatically. The following are available:
• Update from DAB
• Update from FM
• Update from the net
• No updating
You can establish the display format for the time using <Set the format>.

You can set the time zone for the device using <Set the time zone>.

You can establish Summer and Winter time using the <Summer time?> setting.

10.3 Backlight

Using System settings > Backlight you can adjust the brightness of the display for Operation
and for Standby . You can choose between High, Medium and Low. Confirm the selection by
pressing the SCROLL/SELECT/SNOOZE knob.

10.4 Language

You can alter the system language under System settings > Language. Confirm the selection by
pressing the SCROLL/SELECT/SNOOZE knob.
