Do not place any heavy objects on the device.
If you move the device from a cold environment to a hot environment, moisture could
accumulate inside the device. In this case, wait for around an hour before using the radio.
Lay the mains cable in such a way that no one could trip over it.
The power outlet should be as close to the device as possible.
To ensure the connection to the mains, insert the plug fully into the socket.
Use a suitable, easy-to-access mains connection and avoid using multiple socket strips!
Do not handle the mains adapter or power cord with wet hands, as there is a risk of
electric shock!
In the case of malfunctions or detecting smoke or odour from the housing, remove the
plug from the power outlet immediately!
Remove the plug before a storm starts.
Remove the plug if the device is not going to be used for a prolonged period, e.g. before
going away on a long trip.
Excessive volume, in particular when using headphones, can damage the hearing.
Do not set up the device in the vicinity of equipment that emits intense magnetic fields
(e.g. motors, speakers, transformers).
Do not leave the device in a closed parked car subjected to direct sunlight since the
housing may otherwise be deformed.
