7 Basic operation

7.1 Switching the television on/off
To turn on your Transita 120 IR, press the VOLUME/ON/STANDBY button.
The radio is now in the last selected operating mode.
To turn it off again, press the VOLUME/ON/STANDBY button. If the radio is connected to the
mains power supply, the date and the time are shown in the display (Standby).
The display is switched off during battery driven operation.

7.2 Menu navigation

To carry out advanced settings, or to change existing ones, you will generally need to do so via
the menu.
Press the MENU button call up the menu. Turn the SCROLL/SELECT/SNOOZE knob to
navigate through the menu. To activate/save a function or option, press the SCROLL/
SELECT/SNOOZE knob. To go back a step press the MENU button again or press the BACK
button.
Please note that not all options are available in all modes.
Using the SCROLL/SELECT/SNOOZE knob.
Turn it to the right or the left to move the highlighted bar <> and to mark settings or scroll
through and press the knob to confirm/save your selection or to move one step further.
Currently active functions or options are marked with an asterisk *.
Please note that the SCROLL/SELECT/SNOOZE knob is also used to select the station/
frequency.
To exit the menu without selection, wait a moment or press the MENU button or BACK
repeatedly.

7.3 Adjusting the volume

Turn the VOLUME/ON/STANDBY knob to change the volume.

Turn it to the right to increase the volume and to the left to decrease the volume.
