5 Description of the device

5.1 Scope of delivery

Please ensure that all the following accessories are present:
DAB VHF radio
Power supply unit
Instruction manual

5.2 Features of the radio

This digital DAB radio uses a new digital format that delivers crystal-clear sound in CD
quality.
The radio can receive the following frequencies: FM 87.5-108 MHz (analogue) and DAB /
DAB+ 174-240 MHz (digital).
You can save 10 stations as favourites in each different mode (DAB and FM).
Internet radio
External source via AUX IN.
Alarm function with 2 different alarm times.
Sleep timer.
Internal, rechargeable Li-ion polymer battery.

5.3 Connecting to the mains/charging the battery

Insert the power supply in a mains outlet (100 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz) and connect
the other end of the cable to the DC-IN labelled mains socket.

Ensure that the operating voltage of the device matches the local mains voltage
before you insert it into the wall socket.
Switch the power switch On the back to the ON position.

Note:
The Transita 120 IR is fitted with a rechargeable Li-ion polymer battery which is charged just as
soon as the radio is connected to the mains power and switched on using the power switch.
The battery should be charged for about 12 hours before first using the radio. Charging stops
automatically when the battery is fully charged. The charge status is shown on the display at the
top right in the form of a pictogram.
