8.1 Safety Equipment
Pressure Switch
The pressure switch switches the appliance off
if the operating pressure is exceeded, e.g. when
the gun is being closed or if the nozzle is dirty. It
switches it off again when the system drops
below a certain pressure. The pressure switch is
adjusted and leaded at the factory. Adjustment
by customer service only.
Safety Valve
The safety valve opens if the pressure valve is
faulty. The safety valve is adjusted and leaded at
the factory. Adjustment by customer service
only.
8.2 Accessories
Incorrect, ill-fitting or faulty accessories
compromise the functioning of the appliance.
Such use is dangerous. Original Kärcher
accessories are advisable and tailor-made. Your
dealer will gladly advise you.
8.3 Spare Parts
Please note that the use of any other than original
Kärcher spare parts can lead to breakdowns and
even to serious accidents if these parts have not
been correctly manufactured, do not replace the
original part exactly or lead to unsafe operation of
the appliance.
Original spare parts guarantee that the appliance
can be operated safely and without breakdowns.
A selection of the most common spare parts
numbers is contained at the end of these operating
instructions.

8. General Notes

8.4 Guarantee
The guarantee conditions published by our sales
company are valid in all countries. We will repair
any appliance breakdowns free of charge within
the guarantee period if a material or manufacturing
fault is the cause of the breakdown.
The guarantee is only valid if your dealer fills out,
stamps and signs the accompanying answer
card upon sale, and you then send the answer
card to the sales company in your country.
If you wish to avail of the guarantee, please
contact your dealer or nearest authorized
customer service point with the accessory item
and the receipt.
