4.1 Unpacking the Appliance
·
If you discover transport damage when
opening the package, please inform your
dealer immediately.
4.2 Attaching Accessories
·
Attach the retainer clip to the appliance.
·
Attach the cleaning-agent tank.
·
Connect the spray lance to the gun.
·
Connect the high-pressure hose to the gun
and the appliance.
·
Attach the 3-way nozzle so that the marking
groove faces upward.
·
Tighten all union nuts by hand.
4.3 Checking the Oil Level of the High-
Pressure Pump
·
Before initial operation, open the appliance
cover and cut off the tip of the oil-tank lid
(ventilation for the oil housing).
·
Check the oil level in the oil tank. Do not start
the appliance if the oil level has sunk below
“MIN”. Top up oil if necessary (see technical
data, Ch. 3).

4. Starting

4.4 Water Connection
·
See technical data, Ch. 3 for connection values.
·
Attach the inlet hose to the appliance and to
the water pipe. The inlet hose is not contained
in the schedule of parts supplied.
·
If you are drawing water from an open
container, you should
– remove the water connector at the pump
head,
– unscrew the upper inlet hose from the
water tank and connect it to the pump
head,
– use a water inlet hose with a minimum
diameter of 3/4" with a suction filter.
·
Until the pump has drawn in water, you should:
– turn the hand wheel on the hand spray gun
to “MAX”,
– close the cleaning-agent metering valve.
– Never draw water from a drinking-
water container.
– Never draw solvent-containing liquids
such as paint thinners, petrol, oil or
unfiltered water. The seals in the
appliance are not solvent-resistant.
Sprayed solution is highly inflammable,
explosive and toxic!
