– Ensure that the appliance is placed on
a firm base.
– The water jet from the high-pressure
hose causes a recoil on the gun. There
is also a torque action acting on the
angled spray lance. You should
therefore keep a firm grip on the spray
lance and gun.
– Never point the water jet at people,
animals, the appliance or electrical
components.
– The high-pressure cleaner may not be
operated by children. (danger of
accidents due to incorrect use of the
appliance).
– Vehicle tyres/tyre valves may only be
cleaned from a certain minimum
spraying distance of 30 cm. The vehicle
tyre/tyre valve could otherwise be
damaged by the high-pressure spray.
The first indication of this is a
discoloration of the tyre.
Damage vehicle tyres/tyre valves can
endanger life.
– Asbestos-containing and other
materials, which contain materials
damaging to health, may not be
sprayed.
– Suitable protective clothing must be
worn to protect against return spray.
– Ensure that all connected hoses are
always screwed tight.
– The gun lever must never be clamped
tight during operation.

5. Operation

5.1 Ventilating the Appliance

Open the water inlet.
·
Allow the appliance to run without the high-
pressure hose until bubble-free water
emerges.
·
Then connect the high-pressure hose.
·
If the high-pressure hose is already connected
to the spray lance and 3-way nozzle, you can
ventilate the system as follows:
With the hand spray gun open, switch the
appliance on and off several times at intervals
of 10 seconds until water emerges bubble-
free from the high-pressure hose.
5.2 Selecting the type of spray
The handgun must be closed.
·
Rotate the housing of the nozzle until the
desired symbol corresponds with the marking.
·
Select pencil jet or fan jet by contactless
changeover:
rotate the spray lance, which is pointing down
at an angle of approx. 45°, to the left or right.
Explanation of the symbols
High-pressure pencil jet (0°), for
particularly stubborn accumu-
lation of grime.
High-pressure fan jet (25°), for
dirt accumulation over a large
surface.
Low-pressure fan jet (CHEM) for
operation with detergent or for
cleaning at low pressure.
