Dishwasher Thermometer
Dishwasher 14 to 200°F, Cooking 14 to 428°F
Note: In the following instructions, names of the control
buttons are shown in CAPS. Function information that appears
on the display is shown in BOLD CAPS.
Battery Installation
The battery is installed.
1. To replace battery, hold top of thermometer in
left hand securely while twisting bottom of case
to the left with right hand. Pull bottom of case
off of stem.
2. Move metal contact to the right to release
battery and replace it with a new LR44, or
equivalent, with positive (+) side up.
3. Return the case bottom to meet the top. Push
case together and turn to the right until secure.
Note: Be careful to keep the black O-ring in its groove to
keep the waterproof seal.
Operating Instructions
A. Dishwasher Thermometer
1. Press ON/OFF to turn the DW428 on.
2. Clear the MAX/MIN before use.
3. Place the DW428 in dishwasher and run
through the cycle.
4. Remove DW428 when dishwashing cycle
is finished.
5. Press MAX/MIN to show the maximum
temperature reached during the cycle. MAX
appears in the upper right corner of the display.
6. Press MAX/MIN again to show the minimum
temperature reached during the cycle. MIN
appears in the center right of the display.
7. Press ON/OFF for 3 seconds to turn the
DW428 off.
B. Clear MAX/MIN
1. Press MAX/MIN. MAX appears in the upper
right corner of the display.
2. Press CLEAR until two lines (--) appear on
the display.
3. Press MAX/MIN. MIN appears in the center
right of the display.
4. Press CLEAR until two lines (--) appear on
the display.
