Configuring Equipment
The equipment configuration process is identical to when configuring a residual measurement not
using the PNMI as presented in the N5511A User's Guide.
Setup Stimulus PSG
Frequency: 7.2 GHz
Amplitude: 14 dBm
Set SSB Cal Tone

6. Set the cal source to be at a 1 kHz offset from the stimulus carrier at the output of
the coupler and -40 dB relative to the carrier level. A signal analyzer should be used to verify the cal
tone. The easiest location to measure with the analyzer is at the RF path to channel 2.
