If the Sharer's smart device does not have a connection
or loses the connection, the Sharer will be unable to share
data, and the Follower might miss helping the Sharer in the
event of low or high blood glucose values.
Do not use Dexcom Share unless both the Sharer's and
Follower's smart devices have active Internet connections
in order to share data. If either the Sharer or the Follower
does not have a connection, loses their connection, turns
off the connection ("Airplane Mode") or if smart device is
in Do Not Disturb mode (if applicable), the Sharer will be
unable to share data and the Follower might miss helping
the Sharer in the event of low or high blood glucose values.
To check this, try sending your follower an e-mail from
your device. If you follower receives it on their device, both
smart devices are connected.
Make sure the Sharer's and Follower's smart device or
smart watch have charged batteries or are connected to
