Learning About Dexcom Share
Definition
The act of electronically transmitting glucose
information from the Sharer smart device to the
Follower's smart device.
The ability to make a phone call and access the Internet
on the same cellular connection at the same time.
An electronic device, generally connected to other
devices or networks via different wireless protocols
such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G/4G, etc., that can operate
to some extent with other devices as well as on its
own. Examples are iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android
smart phones and tablets.
Self-monitoring of blood glucose using blood taken
from the finger and a blood glucose meter.
The arrow next to the Sharer's glucose reading, located
on the Sharer's profile on the Dexcom Follow app. This
is the same trend arrow that is found on the Dexcom
G4 PLATINUM Receiver with Share.
