4.2.3.1 Four-wire edge sensors (fail-safe)
For sensing edge configurations utilizing fail-safe wiring, one pair of leads can be considered to be the input and
the other pair the output. When connecting several edge sensors together, the output of the first edge sensor is
connected to the input of the second edge sensor, and so on. This leaves the input leads of the first edge sensor
and the output leads of the last edge sensor available for connection to the (PRSU/4 or PRSU/5) SIM as
illustrated below:
